A single profile means very little on its own.
Market Profile becomes far more powerful when you stop asking, “What happened today?” and start asking, “How does today relate to yesterday?” or “Where are we in relation to the Weekly or Monthly profiles?”
Because auctions don’t reset.
They evolve….
Overlapping Value: The Language of Balance
One of the simplest and most important observations is how value shifts relative to the prior session.
If today’s value overlaps heavily with yesterday’s value, the market is balanced.
